Sundance, located in the south-east region of Calgary, Alberta is a residential neighborhood located to the east of Macleod Trail, bounded to the south of Stoney Trail and north-east by the Fish Creek Provincial Park.
Sundance community was established in the year 1982, and the Sundance Lake which is of 33 acres was constructed right in the center of the community. Also, the residents of the neighborhood have access to the Sikome Lake public beach.
As of the year 2000, 15% of the total residents were immigrants, and the LRT line runs parallel to the Macleod Trail which provides direct access to downtown or University of Calgary, ACAD, and SAIT. Both of which are public and private schools in this region.
