Bayview, located in the south-west region of Calgary, is one of the smallest but wealthiest residential neighborhoods in the Alberta province, Canada. It is situated on a peninsula on Glenmore Reservoir’s southern shore, one of the two marinas on the lake is housed by this community.
One of the more popular destinations for shoppers there is the Glenmore Landing strip mall shopping centre. Bayview is one of the wealthier neighborhoods in Calgary, and has over 15% of immigrant population. It also has one of the most high real estate prices in the region, with an average price of over $885,746.67.
In Bayview, which was established in 1967 and has a total area of 0.15 square miles, 67% of the community people commute by car, 33% commute by public transportation, none commute by bike and a small fraction of 3% of people commute by foot.
